Our Story
South Bristol Girls Rugby was created with a simple ambition: to give girls in South Bristol their own place to play, develop and enjoy rugby. What started in 2022 with a small group of girls from local clubs has grown into a thriving community of players, coaches, volunteers and families. We now bring girls together across multiple age groups, creating opportunities both on and off the pitch.

Our focus has always been bigger than rugby. We want to build confidence, friendships and a genuine sense of belonging, while making girls’ rugby accessible, inclusive and fun. As we continue to grow, our ambition remains the same: to create a club where every girl can find her place, fulfil her potential and love playing rugby

We provide girls with a clear rugby pathway from Under 12s through to Under 18s, with dedicated teams, qualified coaching and opportunities to develop, compete and progress at every age group.
